State of New Illinois Q & A
Learn about the movement for a new state separate from Old Illinois, Chicago, and urban Cook County. Our mission is to educate Illinoisans about their RIGHT to pursue a state split, following the process provided in Article IV, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution.
In the Gettysburg Address, Lincoln spoke about government of the people, by the people, and for the people. This event is for everyone concerned about the longstanding lack of representative government in Illinois. It’s time for rural, small town, and suburban communities to be represented fairly.
