Leave Illinois Without Moving!

May 23 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Learn about the movement for the constitutional formation of a new state separate from Old Illinois, Chicago, and Urban Cook County. Presentations by:

  • GH Merritt, Chairman, New Illinois – What is New Illinois, and What Does This Mean for Suburbs Like Barrington?
  • Dan Juffernbruch, New Illinois Constitution Committee Chairman – Regaining Meaningful Representation in State Government
  • Bill Bergman, Author and Finance Expert – Is a New Illinois Financially Feasible?

The United States Constitution gives us the RIGHT to representative state government. But Illinois is a corrupt, failed state. Illinois gives power to favored people, groups, and cities – which means it’s not fulfilling its responsibilities to the rest of its citizens. And now this corruption has created a financial disaster.

The U.S. Constitution also gives us the RIGHT to pursue the formation of a new state. Come and hear about how this process works. Admission is free.

New Illinois is a nonpartisan organization and does not endorse any political party. For more information, please email info@NewIllinoisState.org

NOTE: The Barrington Area Library provides meeting room space as a community service. The Barrington Area Library neither sponsors nor endorses this event nor the presenting individuals or organization.
